Rest... Stillness... Peace... Calm...

Rest... Stillness... Peace... Calm...
Find your calm, peace and feel stillness with Yoga Nidra resuming every Sunday morning from 2nd February, 2020 at 9am in the little hall in Currimundi. Just resting on your back, or on your side and enjoy a 45 minutes guided meditation by Anna, Certified Advanced Yoga Nidra Facilitator. Yoga Nidra is a Yogic Sleep...using intentions and affirmations to steer your life in the direction you want to go rather than where habits tend to take you. Use intentions and affirmation for healing.
Yoga Nidra is an accessible practice available in some form to almost everyone. The practice takes place lying down. It requires no special skills, other than to follow the instructions which consist of a systematic process for complete relaxation of body and mind by taking the awareness to different aspects of experiences such as breath, sense awareness, parts of the body and different layers of mental awareness. Gradually all tension in the body and mind is released in a careful and deliberate way that creates profound relaxation
Anna has studied Advanced Yoga Nidra trainings under Dr Kamini Desai, PhD, (Author of 'Yoga Nidra: The Art of Transformational Sleep' - available from Sunshine Coast Libraries and Amazon. Kamini is the daughter of Yoga Amrit Desai, Amrit Yoga Institute. She is a Member of Yoga Australia and a registered primary and Early Childhood teacher.
$20 at the door covers all Art materials and lemon ginger tea and GF refreshments offered at end of session.
