After weeks of social distancing, the Queensland Government is gradually easing restrictions around public gatherings. Cautiously, we look forward to seeing more local events listed on Lively50plus. If in doubt about whether a particular event is currently operating, please check with the contact person for that event.

If you do attend an event, please practice appropriate social distancing and follow the Australian Government health warnings.

Tai Chi For Beginners
I've had so many enquiries and referrals that I am considering starting a new class in Term 4. Please read info below and if you are interested please contact KaZ directly - taichiharmony@iinet.net.au - to put your name on the waiting list. I will contact you as soon as a day/time/venue is confirmed. PLEASE NOTE that the day/time/date set out below is only there as the site requires a definite date and is not necessarily correct for the new class. Site has also auto filled Acton, area is yet to be decided depending on demand.

If you've ever tried Tai Chi before but found it too demanding, too complicated or you simply didn't understand it, try this. Adults of all ages are very welcome to attend. Not your 'average' instructor, KaZ will guide you from the very beginning, with clear explanations and demonstrations of how and why we move as we do, so that you will improve your health from class one. Specialising in Seniors' health and wellbeing, KaZ is a professional accredited Instructor whose focus is to strengthen mind and body in Harmony.

About KaZ:
I hold Diploma Professional Counselling, Instructor Accreditation with Tai Chi for Health Institute, First Aid Certificate, current Police Check, Public Liability Insurance, Working With Children check and Cert IV Leisure & Health qualification. Currently studying Cert III Micro business. My classes are progressive, respectful and very enjoyable.

Cost is $10 for concession holders, $15 per couple.

Please wear comfortable clothing, flat-soled shoes and bring a drink.

Numbers are strictly limited due to Covid 19 restrictions, therefore you MUST be pre-registered and on the Attendance Sheet to attend my classes - walk-ins will not be admitted. All Covid regulations will be strictly adhered to as will social distancing rules. If you are feeling even the slightest bit not-so-perfect, please DO NOT ATTEND!

If you are interested in improving your health and wellbeing using the gentle and effective art of Tai Chi, please contact KaZ to place your name on the waiting list. It will also be helpful if you could state what area you live in please.
