Movement is key to keeping our bodies strong, healthy and supple, especially so as we enter into our 60's and beyond.
Yoga has been called one of the best forms of exercise for older adults. Over time and with regularity, seniors can improve their flexibility and balance, enhance their strength and boost their mood, with a low risk of injury.

But starting something new can be a little unnerving and so we decided to adapt our Yoga for Beginners 6-week Course to suit our beautiful new-to-yoga Seniors.

The Seniors Yoga for Beginners Course is a practical experience of traditional yoga postures, breathing techniques, relaxation and meditation.

Learn techniques to reduce stress, calm the mind and improve your overall wellbeing, right from your first class.

Suitable for beginners who have older or injured bodies and like a gentler approach as well as for those practitioners who wish to refresh their knowledge.

If you are able to get down onto the floor on a yoga mat and get back up again, then you can do this course. You will learn modifications to suit problematic areas including knees, hips, back and neck so you can safely navigate through a class.

We meet once a week for six weeks. Thursday afternoons at 2pm starting 4th February 2021. Investment of $149 for the 6-week course
