In Paradisum
Noosa Heads

Noosa Chorale presents "In Paradisum" – showcasing two magnificent choral pieces.
Audiences will be captivated by the sublime music of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem and the poignant and dramatic harmonies in Karl Jenkins’ Stabat Mater. Jenkins composed this work in 2008, in which he cleverly blends traditional western music with the ethnic sounds of the Middle East. It is powerful music.
Three professional soloists – baritone Timothy Newton, soprano Annika Hinrichs and mezzo soprano Shirin Majdteymouri – will join the Chorale in this concert accompanied by the Noosa Chorale Sinfonia under the expert baton of Music Director Adrian King.
As this will be Adrian King’s final year as the Chorale’s conductor, each concert is sure to deliver a special and memorable musical experience for all.
Duration: 2 hours including an interval
