Come and enjoy an over 50s exercise class!

Weekly fitness classes are conducted each Friday 9.00am to 10.00am.

The aim of the class is to provide light, weight bearing (light weights and resistance bands) exercise, to increase bone density and other benefits; such as to stimulate muscle growth.

Engaging your body with light weight bearing exercises may also protect your joints, increase your co-ordination, and improve balance and flexibility.

No need for a mat as no floor exercises are used in this class.

Bring a resistance band to class. However, a resistance band will be provided for you to try on your first session.

Bring a bottle of water to keep you hydrated.

Provider: Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instructor) qualified trainer.

FITREC Registered Fitness Professional (Registration Number 106467).

Current First Aid and CPR certificate holder.

COVID 19 vaccinated and boosted.

The premises are air-conditioned with plenty of parking. It has a wooden floor but no mirrors.

$10.00 for each class.

Location: Currimundi Hall (small clubhouse with large mural, on the corner of Currimundi Rd and Ilya St - Grahame Stewart Park).
