If you enjoy cruising and want to share the experience with other solo travellers, then you are warmly invited to join the Cruise Buddies on one of their many voyages planned in 2024.

Why cruising?
Although it varies from ship to ship, there are so many fun activities to enjoy on board a modern cruise ship:
- live shows (comedy, musicals)
- restaurants (complimentary and speciality)
- game shows and trivia competitions
- dress up theme nights (disco, gadsby, 70s)
- dance classes (line dancing, ballroom, rock n roll)
- live music (classical, RnB, rock, piano bar)
- information sessions (e.g. travel destinations, history of rock n roll, future of electric cars, etc.)
- sports (table tennis, pickleball, mini golf, swimming, gym, exercise classes, yoga)
- on shore tours
and much much more.

Or you can just kick back and have a relaxing holiday.

About the Cruise Buddies:
• We are a small group of solo travellers (about 19 at present), over the age of 50 who love cruising.

• Cruise Buddies often do their own thing during the day and arrange to meet up for lunch and then drinks around 5pm. From there they usually head off to a restaurant, check out the main show and listen to some live music.

• Most of the cruises listed for 2024 are departing from either Brisbane or Sydney. There are several repositioning cruises from Singapore and Hawaii. If you are doing a cruise not already on our list then we can add your cruise.

How it Works:
• Use this website to get an idea of what cruises other people are doing.
• Book your cruise through a travel agent, online booking site, or direct with the cruise line.
• Return to this site to tick a box against the cruise you are doing to let others know. It's that simple.

Terms of Use:
• Cruise Buddies is generally open to anyone over the age of 50 who is single, married, defacto. No Restrictions.
• It is not about hooking up with anyone. If you happen to meet the love of your life then that is great; however, the aim is to make friends and share travel experiences with other solo cruisers.
• Most of the Cruise Buddies have their own cabin. You are free to make your own arrangements to share with someone if you wish.
