Tai Chi Classes Starting 2024

New introductory courses in Tai Chi will starting at various locations on the Coast at end July 2024, as listed below:
- Buderim: Mondays 10:30am – 12 noon, Starts 29 July 2024, War Memorial Hall, 1 Main St
- Caloundra: Saturdays 11:00am - 12noon, Starts 27 July 2024, CCSA Hall, 1 Nutley St
- Eumundi: Wednesdays 7:00pm – 8:00pm, Starts 31 July 2024, Eumundi State School Hall, 22 Caplick Way
- Maroochydoore: Saturdays 11am – 12 noon, Starts 27 July 2024, Millwell Road Community Centre, 11 Millwell Rd East
- Nambour: Wednesdays 10:00 – 11am, Starts 31 July 2024, Nambour Uniting Church Hall, 37 Coronation Ave
The classes are weekly. The first session is obligation free. These courses are designed for brand new beginners to experience tai chi and its many health and meditation benefits.

The ancient art of tai chi involves a sequence of slow continuous movements which improve balance, flexibility, and well-being. Tai chi works as a moving meditation that helps body and mind to become supple and strong. The Harvard Medical School has stated that ‘tai chi is one of the best exercises you can ever do’.
These sessions are offered by the Taoist Tai Chi Society, a not-for-profit, charitable and volunteer organisation founded by Master Moy Lin Shin. The Society has over 50 years’ experience in making tai chi available in 25 countries around the world.
