Drive Safely at Any Age- UQ Study

Participate in our driver training study — designed to make people safer on the road.

You will complete a series of interactive, video-based training tasks on a touch-screen monitor that have been shown to improve on road hazard perception.

You can choose: Visit us at the University in St Lucia, or have a UQ researcher meet you at your residence.

ELIGIBILITY:
Be at least 65 years old.
Drive at least once per week.
Hold a QUEENSLAND driver’s licence.
Have access to a mobile phone, email account, and computer.
Able to participate in up to 9 sessions with a gap of at least one week.
Not have participated in any other hazard perception study.
