What do we do?
Each workshop you’re invited to play & create with a variety of materials, to express yourself through the Arts modalities of visual art, movement, sound, drama & writing.
Art Therapy Workshops introduce creative, psycho-therapeutic processes for personal discovery, bringing awareness to all that brings joy, lightness, calm, peace, positivity, happiness, ease & grace into your life.
What are the Holistic Benefits of Art Therapy?
Mental Health - neuroplasticity, stimulating change & growth of pathways within the brain
Emotional Wellbeing - connecting with emotions stored from life experiences which are held within the body
Physical Health - Awareness of dis-ease & refocusing on creation of ease.
Spiritual Wellness - expressing what’s in your heart & soul by circumventing the conscious mind.
Who is Art Therapy for?
People who are:
• All ages, Women & Men, Creative/Artistic or NOT!
• Wanting to express themselves, meet people, engage playfully & meaningfully
When are Workshops held?
Fortnightly during school term-times, Thursday mornings from 10:30am to 12:30pm beginning 24th August & 7th September 2023, and continuing 5th & 19th October, and 2nd, 16th & 30th November.
Knowledge required
• All abilities and capabilities class for beginners and beyond.
• We’re lifelong learners here to have fun & enjoy the ride!
What you'll get
• Guidance & presence with experience
• Variety of creative materials to use
• Variety of fun, creative & emergent processes
• Take home what you create
• Laughter, connection & relaxation
What to bring
• Willingness to engage & create at a level within your capacity & capabilities.
• Anything for your personal comfort, eg. special seat cushion
• Water bottle & personal snacks if desired
