The Sunday Wanderers are a friendly walking group for people who enjoy keeping active while spending time with others.

Most Sunday afternoons we head off for a walk somewhere on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, usually covering between 3 to 6 Km. Everyone is welcome. If that distance is a little too much for you, feel free to come with a friend and enjoy a shorter walk before joining us afterwards.

The social side is just as important as the walk itself. After the walk we usually gather for a chat and some refreshments, either at a local cafe or by sharing something we’ve brought along. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, catch up with friends and enjoy good company.

If you are joining us for the first time we have a contact person who can help you find the group and answer any questions. They know the route, but are not a leader responsible for the safety of others. Everyone participates at their own risk and is responsible for their own well-being. All you need is:
The ability to walk 3-6 km (unless otherwise advised)
Comfortable walking shoes.
A drink.
A mobile phone.
