?? Grey Sneakers Exercise Seniors ??
Currimundi

A combined seated exercise and standing exercise class is conducted each Wednesday at 10.30am to 11.30am at the Currimundi Hall.

The aim of the class is to provide a stable seated workout, as well as light standing exercises.

Key health benefits to light, weight bearing (light weights and resistance bands) exercise are:

- increased bone density and stimulated muscle growth;
- enhanced circulation and cardiovascular health;
- may also protect your joints, increase your co-ordination and improve balance and flexibility;
- reduce stress by releasing mood boosting endorphins;
- increase social connection and confidence.

We focus on stomach strength (core strength), arm and leg muscles to make everyday tasks like walking and climbing stairs easier.

The class is accompanied by great upbeat music from the 60-90s that we all know and love!

No need for a mat as no floor exercises are used in this class.

Bring a bottle of water to keep yourself hydrated and wear comfortable clothing.

Your instructor is Jean (Certificate III in fitness (Gym Instructor) Qualified Trainer).

FITREC Registered Fitness Professional (Registration Number 106467).

The premises are air-conditioned with plenty of parking. It has a wooden floor but no mirrors.
