Maleny
The Sunday Wanderers are a friendly walking group for people who enjoy keeping active while spending time with others.
Most Sunday afternoons we head off for a walk somewhere on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, usually covering between 3 to 6 Km. Everyone is welcome. If that distance is a little too much for you, feel free to come with a friend and enjoy a shorter walk before joining us afterwards.
The social side is just as important as the walk itself. After the walk we usually gather for a chat and some refreshments, either at a local cafe or by sharing something we’ve brought along. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, catch up with friends and enjoy good company.
If you are joining us for the first time we have a contact person who can help you find the group and answer any questions. They know the route, but are not a leader responsible for the safety of others. Everyone participates at their own risk and is responsible for their own well-being. All you need is:
The ability to walk 3-6 km (unless otherwise advised)
Comfortable walking shoes.
A drink.
A mobile phone.
Whether you are new to the area, looking to make friends, or simply enjoy a good walk we’d love to have you join us.

Address is 141 Baroon Pocket Road, North Maleny, 4552.
If the road above is followed to the very end we can meet there in the lakeβs southern recreational area. BYO to enjoy and share after the walk. You can also give feedback on the trail and whether youβd like to see it again on the schedule. Itβs a relatively short walk, listed as 2.2 km, but Iβm sure very beautiful!
